We hadden 4 duiven ingetekend. Alle 4 waren ze nog aanwezig voor de finale. Vele duiven waren reeds afgevallen voor de eindrace. Het werd een zware opgave. Met name door de zeer hoge temperaturen op vrijdag. 3 van de 4 duiven wisten hun hok te bereiken. We eindigden op een verdienstelijke 98e plaats.

Finished more edition of Algarve Great Derby.
The year 2018 was very difficult due to the high temperatures, and ended with the AGD final on one of the hottest days of September.
Even so, 153 warriors were able to finish the race on the first day. Being that on the second day there more than 400 joined to them we have at present 555 athletes, and we hope that more will return until the end of today and tomorrow.
We want to congratulate all the winners and all participants for this successful edition. Safet Duran of Ireland was the great winner 2018.
