The weekend of 19 and 20 january we got an invitation to judge the Blackpool pigeon show. Annemie, Gilbert , Paul and
Jan Krauth left by plane. A fantastic hotel, good transport and a top gala evening we could enjoy. During the weekend we
met some friends from Wales. Tony Murray with his fantastic results on the long distance ( out of 1 nat Bordeaux and 50,
lines Heijnen) Tony winner of the Queenscup and 1 st Olympiade pigeon in Budapest. Jan Krauth had some fantastic
meetings with pigeon fanciers who raced the Krauth pigeons in England and Ireland. At the auction of Top Pigeons there
was a Forum. Good organised. We met Gerard Schalkwijk from Holland. His father also raced with the Krauth pigeons.
It was an unforgetable weekend, Thanks to John for inviting us..
